Pheasant Lodge - Builth Wells

We stayed at the lovely Pheasant Lodge for just 2 nights, enjoying the excellent location in a beautiful park with a river running through it. The living area and kitchen were perfectly fine, and the two spacious bedrooms were a bonus. The lodge overlooked the river, and parking was conveniently located right behind. Despite the weather not cooperating, the lodge had a verandah where we could have sat out and enjoyed the view. One of the best parts was waking up to the amazing wildlife outside the lodge, with pheasants, squirrels, and rabbits making their presence known. The peaceful and quiet surroundings made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. The friendly neighbors and warden added to the fantastic experience.

oven needs a good clean

The location was absolutely mind-blowing, nestled in a stunning park with a picturesque river. Being able to book just 2 nights was super convenient. The living area and kitchen were great, and the bedrooms were spacious. The peaceful and quiet surroundings were jaw-dropping, with pheasants, squirrels, and rabbits right outside our lodge. Beautiful location with a peaceful river view. Convenient parking just behind the lodge. - Unfortunately, the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the verandah, but it looked like a lovely place to sit out and relax.

The lodge could have been cleaner - dirty oven, leaking water heater, and unclean cutlery and fridge. Some maintenance issues were present, such as broken blinds, hooks, and towel rail.
